Thanks to our Energy Bond Project, we’ve upgraded the lighting in our high school gym from older fixtures to new, energy-efficient LED lighting. The transformation is easy to see—and the benefits go far beyond brighter lights.
The new LED lighting:
✔️ Improves visibility for students, athletes, and spectators
✔️ Uses less energy, helping reduce operating costs
✔️ Requires less maintenance and has a longer lifespan
✔️ Creates a brighter, more welcoming environment for school events
This project is one of many improvements being made through our Energy Bond, allowing us to modernize our facilities while investing in long-term energy savings. Be on the lookout for more energy bond project updates!

🏐A Fresh Look is Coming to Our Gym!🏀
Our high school gym floor is currently being refinished this week, and we can't wait to put it to use! This project will help preserve our court while providing a safe, high-quality playing surface for our student-athletes, PE classes, and the many events our community enjoys throughout the year.

Planning on doing your back-to-school shopping in Toledo? NEXT WEEKEND (August 7th-9th) is Ohio's "Tax Free Weekend" - the PERFECT time for your student to stock up for the upcoming school year! 🧡🖤

Emily (Puterbaugh) Roach pitched Summerfield to back-to-back State Championships in 2010 and 2011, and a Runner-up finish in 2012. She was named MHSAA All-State Pitcher in 2010, 2011, 2012, Monroe County All-Region team in 2010, 2011, 2012, and Monroe County All-Region Player of the Year in 2012.
Emily continued her pitching career at Huntington University (Huntington, Indiana) and led them to 2 NAIA National Tournament appearances. She was announced Crossroads League Pitcher of the Year in 2016.
Emily currently lives in Huntsville, AL with her husband Joshua and their pets Kimber (dog) and Henry (cat).

Many families and students have been asking how they can support the Harrigan family during this difficult time.
Tomorrow, Monday, June 29th, several parents have arranged for dinner from Bob’s Market to be delivered to the Harrigan’s, along with cards and letters from friends. If your child or family would like to send a card or note, you may drop it off at Bob’s Market by 5:00 PM tomorrow, and it will be included with the delivery.
This is simply an opportunity for those who would like to share their support and let the Harrigan family know they are being thought of.🖤🧡
