Summerfield Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 due to hazardous road conditions and the expected wind chill Tuesday morning.
Exams scheduled for Tuesday will now be given on Wednesday, January 21st.
High school students enrolled in in-person classes with Monroe County Community College, which begin on Tuesday, should check their college email for status updates.
A decision regarding high school athletic events will be made by 2:00pm tomorrow.

These kindergarten superstars from Mrs. Stahl's classroom delivered big hearts and even bigger smiles 🍕❤️ They collected the most items in our food drive and celebrated with a well earned pizza party. Way to show how even the littlest learners can make a big difference.

Summerfield Schools has a half day of instruction scheduled on Friday, December 19th. Students will not be eating in the cafeteria on this day, but we are offering a sack lunch option so all students have the opportunity to get a lunch before dismissal.
As are all lunches this year, the sack lunch will be free.
Half Day Dismissal Times:
Elementary - 11:55 am
Junior High & High School - 11:45 am
To sign up to receive a sack lunch, please complete THIS form by 12:00 pm (noon) on Wednesday, December 17th.

SHS students in the peer to peer class planned an afternoon of holiday fun for their elementary links. Elementary students were excited to visit their links at the high school.

It's Turkey Day!!! We are thankful for our Bulldog Buddies and our kitchen staff. We enjoyed a delicious thanksgiving feast today prepared by our fantastic kitchen staff.
Thank you to Mrs. Cowen's 4th grade class for raking up all of the ginkgo leaves in the front of our building. Showing pride in your school while having some fall fun is an afternoon well spent.
